বিবাহ

ব্যবসায়ে অভাবিত সাফল্যে খাদীজা দারুণ খুশী হন। অন্যদিকে গােলাম মায়সারার কাছে মুহাম্মাদের মিষ্টভাষিতা, সত্যবাদিতা, আমানতদারী এবং উন্নত চিন্তা-চেতনার কথা শুনে বিধবা খাদীজা মুহাম্মাদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাশীল হয়ে পড়েন। ইতিপূর্বে পরপর দু’জন স্বামী মৃত্যুবরণ করায় মক্কার সেরা নেতৃবৃন্দ তাঁর নিকটে বিয়ের পয়গাম পাঠান।

কিন্তু তিনি কোনটাই গ্রহণ করেননি। এবার তিনি নিজেই বান্ধবী নাফীসার মাধ্যমে নিজের বিয়ের পয়গাম পাঠালেন যুবক মুহাম্মাদ-এর কাছে। তখন উভয় পক্ষের মুরব্বীদের সম্মতিক্রমে শাম থেকে ফিরে আসার মাত্র দু’মাসের মাথায় সমাজনেতাদের উপস্থিতিতে ধুমধামের সাথে তাদের বিবাহ সম্পন্ন হয়। মুহাম্মাদ স্বীয় বিবাহের মােহরানা স্বরূপ ২০টি উট প্রদান করেন।

এ সময় খাদীজা ছিলেন মক্কার শ্রেষ্ঠ ধনী ও সম্ভ্রান্ত মহিলা এবং সর্বোত্তম চরিত্রের অধিকারিণী হিসাবে ‘ত্বাহেরা' (পবিত্র) নামে খ্যাত। তখন তার বয়স ছিল ৪০ এবং মুহাম্মাদের বয়স ছিল ২৫। মুহাম্মাদ ছিলেন। খাদীজার তৃতীয় স্বামী। অন্যদিকে খাদীজা ছিলেন মুহাম্মাদের প্রথমা স্ত্রী। উভয়ের দাম্পত্য জীবন পঁচিশ বছর স্থায়ী হয়। মৃত্যুকালে খাদীজার বয়স হয়েছিল ৬৫ বছর। তবে উভয়ের বয়স নিয়ে মতভেদ আছে।

হাকেম হা/৪২২৯; তিরমিযী হা/৩৬২০; মিশকাত হা/৫৯১৮ ইবনু ইসহাক এখানে বিনা সনদে উল্লেখ করেন যে, শামে গিয়ে রাসূল (ছাঃ) একজন পাদ্রীর উপাসনালয়ের পাশে একটি গাছের ছায়ায় অবতরণ করেন। তখন পাদ্রীটি গােলাম মায়সারাকে এসে বলেন, এ ব্যক্তি কে? তিনি বলেন, ইনি হারামের অধিবাসী কুরায়েশ বংশের একজন ব্যক্তি। পাদ্রী বলেন, এই গাছের নীচে নবী ব্যতীত কেউ কখনাে অবতরণ করেন না' (ইবনু হিশাম ১/১৮৮)। এই পাদ্রীর নাম নারা নাস্তূরা। সুহায়লী বলেন, ঈসা (আঃ) থেকে এত দীর্ঘ বছর পর্যন্ত ঐ গাছটি বেঁচে থাকা সম্ভব নয়। অতএব এক্ষেত্রে সঠিক বর্ণনা এটাই হতে পারে যে, ঈসা (আঃ)-এর পরে এ যাবৎ কেউ এর নীচে অবতরণ করেন নি। ইবনু ইসহাক ব্যতীত অন্য কেউ উক্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন' (ঐ, টীকা-৩)। ইতিপূর্বে বাহীরা পাদ্রী এবং এখন নারা পাদ্রীর ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী সমূহ বর্ণনা করে গল্পকারগণ প্রমাণ করতে চেয়েছেন যে, খাদীজা উক্ত কারণেই মুহাম্মাদ-এর প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হয়ে পড়েন (মােস্তফা চরিত ২৮৬-৮৮ পৃঃ)। অথচ এগুলি একেবারেই ভিত্তিহীন কল্পকথা মাত্র।

Marriage

Khadija was very happy with the unexpected success in business. On the other hand, the widow Khadija became respectful to Muhammad when she heard of Muhammad's sweetness, truthfulness, fidelity and advanced thinking. Earlier, two of her husbands died in a row, so the best leaders of Makkah sent her a message of marriage.

 But he did not accept any. This time he himself sent his marriage message to the young Muhammad through his girlfriend Nafisa. Their marriage was solemnized in the presence of social leaders just two months after their return from Syria with the consent of the rabbis on both sides. Muhammad gave 20 camels as a gift for his marriage.

At that time Khadija was known as ‘Tahera’ (Holy) as the richest and noblest woman of Makkah and possessed of the best character. He was 40 then and Muhammad was 25. Muhammad was. Khadija's third husband. Khadija, on the other hand, was Muhammad's first wife. The conjugal life of both lasted twenty-five years. Khadija was 65 years old at the time of her death. However, there are differences of opinion between the two.

 Ibn Ishaq mentions here without any evidence that the Prophet (sm) went to Syria and landed in the shade of a tree next to a priest's shrine. Then the pastor came to Gayalam Maysara and said, who is this person? He said that he was a resident of Haram and a member of the Quraish clan. The priest said, "No one ever descends under this tree except the Prophet" (Ibn Hisham 1/18). The name of this priest is Nara Nastura. Suhaili said that it is not possible for the tree to survive so long from Isa (AS). Therefore, the correct description in this case may be that no one has descended under it since Jesus (pbuh). This has been narrated by none other than Ibn Ishaq '(ibid., Note 3). The narrators have tried to prove that Khadija was attracted to Muhammad for the same reason by quoting the prophecies of the Bahira priest and now the Nara priest (Maestafa Charit 26-2). But these are just baseless myths.
